An easy and quick overnight oats recipe to help those winter blues go away. Make it the night before and when you wake up you have breakfast already waiting for you. Topped with pineapple, banana, pecans, and coconut. We can’t think of a better way to start the morning off.
Hello everybody. It’s been a great 2020 so far. We took a few weeks off for the holidays and we ready to get back into the groove of things. This is the third recipe that we are sharing with you this year. First, it was our Grapefruit Salad and our Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Now we have for you another healthy recipe. This Tropical Overnight Oats.
As you can tell we have been gravitating towards healthy recipes. This is because we had so many sweets over the holidays that our bodies are craving something just a little bit healthier. Don’t get us wrong you will still find a lot of upcoming dessert recipes here on our blog.
If you have followed us here on the blog you know that oatmeal is our go-to breakfast. We usually have it every morning. It provides so many benefits like antioxidants and it can help lower cholesterol. It is truly the perfect breakfast food.

What you’ll need:
- Old Fashioned Oats
- Almond Milk
- Pure Maple Syrup
- Pineapple Chunks
- Toasted Coconut
- Chopped Pecans
The steps to make these overnight oats are super easy. In an air-tight container add in the oats, almond milk, maple syrup and stir together. Then on top add the pecans, toasted coconut, pineapple chunks, and banana. Place in the refrigerator overnight and you are done. You now have a delicious breakfast all ready just grab it from the refrigerator and enjoy it!
Tropical Overnight Oats
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1¼ cup Almond Milk
- 1½ tsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks
- 2 tbsp Chopped Pecans
- 1 tbsp Toasted Coconut
- In an air-tight container stir together the oats, almond milk, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Then top with toasted coconut, pecans, pineapple chunks, and bananas.
- Place in the refrigerator overnight. Then enjoy the next morning.
